Evaluation

Evaluation phases can be conducted at various times and repeatedly during research and development to find out whether a project is well on its way. Concepts and system modules are evaluated with test cases and test runs. Functional tests traditionally drive software development. Prototypes are evaluated by users with respect to function and usability. Depending on the evaluation results, earlier development phases may have to be revisited.
The evaluation phase offers an opportunity to check whether the preceding research and development process has successfully included gender/diversity considerations.
